A family retreat on Martha’s Vineyard with an existing timber frame home and a small orchard. The existing home’s living area is limited and this new building provides a guest apartment for in-laws and others, an entertaining kitchen, home theater, and work-from-home spaces. Complete with laundry and storage, this building facilitates multigenerational living, while obviating the need for more expansive and complex renovations to the existing home.
